Top left- male
Top right- female
Right hand side- male, born on November 8th, last year 
The Bottom- The two with black beaks are babies. 
Janurary 8th last year they became independent.

The top part of the branch;
the two birds on the left side are both female and 
have gained independence.
 
the two birds on the right(more colourful)are the parents.

The bottom part of the branch;
The bird on the very right is very much from 
the same litter but is male.

The two birds on the very bottom of the photo 
gained independence on January 31st 
but it is too early to determine their sex.
 

 
The Strawberry Finches are weak in the cold yet 
they often start breeding in the late Autumn.

There were two successful breeding. 
However looking with the dates in mind, 
the failure in breeding (likely to have happened once) 
was due to the cold.
